The story of DoTI
Founded by Simon Willis and Dominique Gonfard, DoTI merges Simon’s 30+ years of practical, coordination-focused workplace experience with Dominique’s unique market perspective derived from 20+ years of project management experience servicing multi-million pound interior requirements for clients across London..
For Dominique, a foray into furniture began with the launch of a bespoke, limited edition manufacturing business she created in New York City in 2009. Dominique developed product ranges designed by leading architects and interior designers based in the US and Europe, with manufacturing partnerships in Mexico, China, the US, and Slovenia serving projects and clients including Hyatt Hotels, Disney Cruises, and Google. Today, the brand’s Felt Stool remains housed in the permanent collection of New York's Museum of Modern Art.
Simon’s furniture career began with an honours degree in Furniture Design. For 16 years, he worked as a Designer developing workstations for a leading UK manufacturer, where he considered all details - from aesthetics and features to ergonomic support and human-centric engagement. Simon then moved dealer-side, where he coordinated complex projects for leading A&D clients, most recently leading in house furniture for prominent London practices.
